About Surgoinsville, Tennessee

The Town of Surgoinsville was established in 1815 by French Protestant settler James Surguine. Situated between Rogersville and Church Hill, it is one of five incorporated municipalities in Hawkins. It is also part of Kingsport-Bristol-Johnson City Combined Statistical Area (CSA). Commonly known as the "Tri-Citites."
